Summit Strong:
Pelvic Floor Guidance
Developed by Dr. Kaeli Beckham with Mount Si Physical Therapy for pregnant moms who want to feel strong, capable, adventurous, and very much like themselves.
You shouldn’t have to choose between growing a baby and staying connected to the movement, mountains, trails, and weird little rituals that make you feel alive. This course is built for the mountain mamas, weekend warriors, and active pregnant women wondering how to keep moving safely and confidently through this wild season.
For the women asking, “Cool, but can I still do my life?”
Running, climbing, skiing, biking, hiking, lifting, hauling toddlers, sleeping terribly, peeing when you sneeze, wondering if that pressure is normal — pregnancy comes with questions. This course gives you grounded guidance for the real-life stuff active moms are actually navigating.
Move with confidence
Learn how to modify, monitor symptoms, and understand what your body is telling you while staying active through pregnancy.
Prepare for birth
Think of birth as the summit push. You’ll learn ways to support pushing, positioning, breathing, and pelvic floor readiness.
Feel less alone
A safe, non-weird space to ask the intimate questions most people are thinking but no one is casually bringing up at brunch.
The guidance active pregnant bodies deserve.
This isn’t a generic “just listen to your body” pep talk. You’ll get clear education on pelvic floor, core, symptoms, modifications, and birth prep from someone who gets both clinical care and adventure-brained moms.
- Pelvic floor basics: too tight, too weak, leaking, pressure, heaviness, and what to do about it.
- How to think about running, skiing, biking, climbing, lifting, and impact during pregnancy.
- Coning, doming, core connection, and safe strength work as your belly grows.
- Birth preparation, perineal stretching, pushing practice, and delivery positions.
- How to know when it’s time to modify, rest, or get one-on-one help from a pelvic floor PT.

The stuff you’re probably wondering
Can I keep running, skiing, biking, climbing, or lifting if it feels okay?
Often, yes — with the right context, modifications, and symptom awareness. This course will help you understand how to make smart decisions instead of relying on vague internet advice.
Is leaking during pregnancy normal?
It’s common, but that does not mean you have to just accept it. We’ll talk through what leaking can mean, what can help, and when to get more support.
What if my pelvic floor is too tight, not too weak?
Great question. More kegels are not always the answer. You’ll learn why pelvic floor function is about coordination, strength, relaxation, pressure management, and timing.
Is this only for first-time moms?
Nope. Whether this is your first pregnancy or you’re doing this rodeo again, the goal is to help you feel more informed, capable, and connected to your body.
Pregnancy is not the end of your adventure era.
It’s a new route. Come learn how to move through it with more support, more knowledge, and fewer “wait, is this normal?” spirals.
This class is educational and is not a replacement for individualized medical care. Please consult your healthcare provider or a qualified pelvic floor physical therapist for personal medical guidance, especially if you are experiencing pain, bleeding, significant pressure, leaking, dizziness, or other concerning symptoms.
